Tip of the Month
Place a conversion form on your home page
In order to grow your marketing list you need a way to collect the names and addresses of potential clients to reach out to. A great way to do this is to add a conversion form to your website home page. A conversion form is a form that asks your website visitors to give you their contact info in exchange for something of value to them. This item of value could be anything you can give them in return.
This form can be integrated with your email marketing service. Examples of popular email marketing services include: MailChimp, Active Campaign, AWeber, Infusionsoft and the list goes one.
An example follows: Let’s say you are a book author and you have a new book you are promoting. Your conversion form could offer the first 3 chapters of your new book if they fill out the form. Not a book author? No need to worry, everyone has something they can offer in return. Do you own a service based business such as a Plumber. You could send them to your coupons page upon filling out the form to get a valuable coupon towards your services. Or lets say you own a fitness center your conversion form could offer a free 1 month membership after filling out the form.
The possibilities are endless, but the simple truth is you need to add a conversion form to your website.
